This great guy in front of the rhododendron is Ursaf de Lann Guic, called "Gustav". He is a purebred Berger Picard. His owner brought him back from France in January 2006 being an emergency. The previous owners had problems with him and this is why he had to leave. The behaviour, which was complained about, quickly disappeared after he had familiarised himself, since, as it is often the case, the animal was not the one to cause the problems. Gustav is a calm and even-tempered dog, very sensitive and affectionate, but also alert as it is typical for the dog breed.
In this new family he lives together with two Picard bitches. Gustav helps in the owner's shop and works there as "model" or demonstration dog, if required. The photograph speaks for itself - we can also confirm that he is clearly qualified as a model.
