To our joy we feature a cat as our darling of the month for the first time in a long time.
Minni is a sweet, small pussycat who is about 5 years old. Once upon a time, she lived with an old lady, together with 7 other cats. When the old lady died, the cats were suddenly thrown onto the street, fed only at rare intervals by the neighbours. Then, finally, after 6 months, an animal care society took pity on the clowder and found them homes with some nice families. At the start, Minni was very shy and spent the first few days under the sofa. Then, after 3 days, she apparently decided that she needed more space, so she moved under the bed. This situation persisted for some time until she started to trust her environment. Meanwhile she trusts her owner completely; she can be stroked and at night she even sleeps in the bed. Together with her housemate, her big friend Mefi (he is nearly twice as big as she is), she has pulled herself together, and this can be taken literally. Even today, she cannot be near Mefi without annoying him, leading to much scuffling about. She loves to run behind him and always tries to bite to him on the tail or in the leg. Minnii is a sweet, small, dear and cheeky but courageous cat, and butter wouldn't melt in his mouth. He's a little fighter who has already experienced quite a lot.
