Carnello "Favorite of the Month" January 2012

Ojo is a little Terrier mix and 2 years old. Even though he is so young, he has already had many bad experiences and almost would have certainly died in the pound on Tenerife. As a part of an animal protection project, he was saved from the killing station and brought to Germany in 2011 by flight sponsors.
At a care station, he was able to recuperate and learn that people can be nice. When Ojo's (who was Felipe back then) mistress visited him for the first time, he immediately decided that he was going to live with her. Even before she saw him, he jumped up on her lap and never left the entire afternoon. It was simply love at first sight! When he moved in, life was absolutely enriched. Ojo is friendly and simply a dear. He enjoys smooching and cuddling. He likes people and enjoys accompanying his mistress to the office.
The most important thing to him is having his "person" close by. He still has a little fear of loss because he doesn't want to give up his nice home. That is still being worked on. His best friend is Fred, the neighbor's cat. Unfortunately, Fred doesn't really want to smooch with Ojo like he wants, but they are working on that too ;-) Ojo enjoys the many wonderful things of a dog's life (he is passionate about eating), training at a dog school and much, much more. But the absolute highlight of the day is the hours he spends on the banks of the Weser!
Thanks to the animal rights protectors from Hexes-Tiernothilfe (animal emergency help) who made this happy end possible!
