Niki is a former street dog from Turkey. She came to her new family in Munich at the age of one. Very shy, very jumpy and very scared. She was taken away from gypsy children and it took a long time until she was not longer afraid of dark-skinned children. Her very first dog treat that she got on the day she arrived in Germany was really a Carnello spaghetti. (See video below) Even today, they are still her absolute favourite dog treat. She even gives bulls' pizzles & co. the cold shoulder for her spaghettis. Every time her mistress shows her one, her entire little body starts shaking with excitement! What nobody knew at the time: she was sheared by Turkish animal rights activists. A few weeks later she suddenly had a beautiful long coat. Now, when it gets too hot for her in the summer, there is the Isar in Munich. She enjoys a refreshing swim there every now and then.
